SEA transfer rates at a glance
Transfers from SEA are priced by itinerary: the exact pickup, the destination address, passengers, bags, and any waiting or stops. Rather than publish a made-up flat fare for every corridor, the table below shows the starting floor that applies to each SEA transfer. The quote for your trip confirms the final price before anything is booked.
| From SEA to | Sedan | SUV |
|---|---|---|
| Downtown Seattle (hotels, Pike Place, convention district) | from $130 | from $160 |
| South Lake Union | from $130 | from $160 |
| Bellevue | from $130 | from $160 |
| Redmond and the Microsoft campus | from $130 | from $160 |
| Kirkland | from $130 | from $160 |
| Pier 66 (Bell Street Cruise Terminal) | from $130 | from $160 |
| Pier 91 (Smith Cove Cruise Terminal) | from $130 | from $160 |
| Tacoma | from $130 | from $160 |
Starting rates apply to point-to-point transfers. Longer runs, added stops, extended waiting, tolls and airport or terminal charges are confirmed in the quote. Larger groups can request a Mercedes S-Class or Sprinter; see the hourly rates below.
Hourly rates for multi-stop days
When a SEA arrival turns into a day of meetings across the lake, hourly hire keeps the car and chauffeur with you. Hourly reservations have a three-hour minimum.
| Vehicle | Hourly | 3-hour minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Business Sedan | $120/hr | $360 |
| First Class SUV | $150/hr | $450 |
| Mercedes S-Class | from $230/hr | from $690 |
| Sprinter Van | from $240/hr | from $720 |
S-Class and Sprinter rates are starting rates. The booking quote confirms the final price, which can vary with taxes, tolls and availability. See how hourly hire works and the fleet for capacities.
How pickup works at SEA
The Port of Seattle publishes requirements for pre-arranged limousines, and every operator serving SEA works inside them. As published on the Port's site in October 2026:
- Permitted pre-arranged limousines may pick up on the Arrival Drive (the lower drive).
- There are no staging facilities for pre-arranged limousines on airport premises, and drivers may not loiter, solicit, wait or park on airport drives, including inside the terminal or the parking garage.
- Drivers who meet passengers park in designated limo stalls on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. They check in at the Ground Transportation Booth before loading passengers there.
- Drop-offs for departures are made on the Departure Drive (the upper drive).
What this means for you: give the flight number when you book, keep your phone on after landing, and follow the meeting instructions in your confirmation. Dispatch adjusts timing to the actual landing, so a late arrival does not leave a car circling. The Port's Ground Transportation Information Booth is on the 3rd level of the parking garage if you need help finding the garage stalls.

Cruise season: plan the SEA-to-pier leg
Seattle has two cruise terminals: the Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 (2225 Alaskan Way) and the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91 (2001 West Garfield Street). The Port says the terminals are about a 30 to 45 minute drive from the airport depending on traffic, and that public transit does not serve Pier 91.
The Port's published 2026 cruise schedule runs from the first call on April 17 to the last on October 11, so this year's season is ending as this page is updated. The Port's preliminary 2027 schedule, published September 18, 2026, lists a first in-transit call on March 27, regular calls from mid-April, and Pier 66 calls through October 17. Schedules change throughout the season, so check the current version before you fix a transfer time.
Practical timing:
- The Port advises avoiding the 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. window for terminal drop-off unless it is your scheduled time. Ask for a transfer time that lands outside it.
- Name the pier on the reservation. They sit at opposite ends of the waterfront, and mixing them up is the costliest mistake on sailing day.
- Count the bags. Cruise luggage is the usual reason a sedan becomes an SUV or Sprinter. An SUV starts at $160 for a point-to-point transfer and a Sprinter is quoted from $240 an hour.
- Flying in the same day? Leave margin between landing and the ship's check-in window rather than planning to the minute.
Both ends of a cruise can be booked as one itinerary. See cruise port transfers and the Pier 66 versus Pier 91 guide.

Conference and event weeks
Large conferences at the downtown convention center and big-game days put pressure on hotel curbs and the freeways between SEA, downtown and the Eastside. Specific conference dates change, so confirm yours with the organizer. Plan around these habits instead:
- Book as soon as your flight is set. Conference weeks and cruise weekends are when vehicle availability tightens first.
- Put every hotel and venue address on the request, not just the city, so the quote reflects the real stops.
- For roadshows that cross the lake, use hourly hire so the same car covers Downtown, South Lake Union, Bellevue and Redmond. The roadshow planning guide has a checklist.
- Departing after an event? Add buffer for the hotel curb, and give dispatch your airline and flight time so pickup is set to the departure, not a generic rule.
What to send for a quote
Flight number and date, pickup and drop-off addresses (or the pier), passenger count, bag count, any stops. The reply confirms the vehicle, the price and the waiting terms before you commit.
SEA rates: common questions
How much is a car from SEA to downtown Seattle?
Point-to-point airport transfers start from $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV. The quote for your exact address, passengers, bags and waiting time confirms the final price before you book.
Is there a flat price for each SEA route?
This page shows the starting floors, not a flat price per route. Send your itinerary and the quote confirms the final price, which can vary with taxes, tolls and availability.
What is the hourly rate for a chauffeur in Seattle?
Hourly hire is $120 for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for a Mercedes S-Class and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. The S-Class and Sprinter rates are starting rates; the quote confirms the final price.
Where does a pre-arranged car meet me at SEA?
The Port of Seattle publishes the rules for pre-arranged limousines: permitted vehicles may pick up on the Arrival Drive (lower drive), and drivers who meet passengers park in designated limo stalls on the 3rd floor of the parking garage after checking in at the Ground Transportation Booth. Your confirmation states the exact plan for your flight.
How long is the drive from SEA to the cruise terminals?
The Port of Seattle says the cruise terminals are about a 30 to 45 minute drive from the airport, depending on traffic. Name the pier on your reservation, because Pier 66 and Pier 91 are different pickup plans.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Dispatch tracks your flight number and adjusts the chauffeur timing to the actual arrival. Confirm the included waiting time in your quote.
Do you cover late-night and early-morning SEA trips?
Yes. Dispatch runs 24/7, so red-eye arrivals and early departures are booked like any other transfer.
